Minnowpond's Kitting

It had been a long, tiring day, but after much needed help from the medicine cat, Minnowpond was finished giving birth. She had birthed three health she-kits.
Wildblaze was waiting just outside the nursery, pacing back and forth. The hot greenleaf sun reflected off his ginger tabby fur. Finally, after the screams and yowls, everything went silent and Owlsong trotted out of the nursery. "They're here?" he asked the medicine cat.
Owlsong nodded. "Three healthy she-kits, m'leader," she joked, flicking her tail tip back and forth. The leader shoved past Owlsong and laid his eyes on his beautiful daughters.
"What shall we name them?" Minnowpond asked her mate.
Wildblaze pulled the gray kit up to him. "She looks like an old friend of mine. I shall name her Wishkit, to honor Wishdream," he meowed.
Minnowpond giggled. "What about her?" she asked, pointing her tail to the black kit with the ginger stripes. "I'd name her, but I don't know what to name this one."
"You know who she looks like? She looks like Runningleaf," Wildblaze purred.
Minnowpond rolled her eyes. "No she doesn't! Runningleaf doesn't even have the same colors as this kit."
Wildblaze stuck his tongue out. "So? Her name will be Runningkit, to honor the great leader, Runningleaf."
Minnowpond pulled the tortoiseshell close. "I'm naming this one," she meowed. "You already named the last two." For a few moments, Minnowpond stared at the little tortie. "Brindlekit. Her name will be Brindlekit."
"Beautiful," Wildblaze purred as he stared at his daughters with immense pride.
